b. 1960, United Kingdom. Began training at the National Art School, East Sydney graduating in 1980. To further his studies and to develop the discipline of woodfired ceramics he traveled to Japan becoming assistant to Bizen potter, Uneo Norihide, specialising in tea ceremony ceramics. From his Blackheath studio he produces stoneware and porcelain pots with shino, celadon, copper red, and ash glazes.
